Tough Week

Unfortunatly I wasn't able to post earlier in the week because of some church circumstances that would have made blogging a partiuarly dangerous occupation (rants are sometimes bad when everyone can read them). But things have started to look up, right now I'm enjoying my day off with a Harry Potter movie marathon with my daughter. We then have plans to go to the Green Dragon. The biggest flea market in the area, with my in-laws. I feel I have been adjusting well to living in Allentown, though I feel that I've had more difficulty fitting in with the congregation. This may just be an EUB thing or just this church, but it feels like its taking me longer to fit in here than it has for some time at a church. The dog's doing okay, housebreaking is still a bit of an issue but it generally is with dogs who are breed for hunting. They are generally smarter and because of this have a bit more will in what "they" want. Tracker is picking up some commands. So far

Hobby

Well I've been struggling a little bit here lately with something I new I would be. I have been searching for ways to relax and escape church stuff. My biggest hobby in the past has been reading and it still is the biggest. The problem with reading is that all books are potential sermon illustrations, or book studies. So it is relaxing but I find mentally I'm not really getting away from work. My other big hobby is cooking, which is still up there except you need a lot of money to keep cooking as a hobby. So I kept thinking and looking, I've come up with a few more hobby options, one is woodworking. I always liked woodworking but could never afford the tools (still can't) nor did I have the time. I am hopefully going to be able to buy some tools in the next few months and get started, so obviously this is a slow and gradual hobby. The other hobby I've really started to get into is genealogical research. I have never been able to piece together all of my fam
